Projecta Intelli-Wave inverters deliver class-leading performance, power efficiency and reliability making them the choice for all Caravan and leisure boat operators. Once installed it remvoes the manual process of a change over switch, Simply plug into shore power and the Inverter changes over automatically.

Engineered to produce ultra clean power, Intelli-Wave inverters feature exceptional peak power performance (200% capacity for 3 secs, 140% capacity for 3 mins) allowing them to effortlessly Run demanding appliances such as fridges and power tools. All Projecta inverters are fully isolated and designed in accordance with Australian standards for safety and peace of mind.

Features

Pure Sine Wave Output

Watch television without static, listen to an AM radio, play your favourite game on an XBoxTM, PlaystationTM or WiiTM, Run power tools, or power any other sensitive electrical appliance.

Remote Control Display

The remote control display allows you to monitor the inverter’s performance and power supply levels while mounting the inverter out of sight or closer to the batteries. The remote’s off/on button allows you to switch the inverter to standby mode when it is not being used, reducing the idle current draw to just 5mA.

LCD Display

The IP2000 featurse an illuminated multi-function LCD screen that provides detailed information including battery voltage (volts), power usage (watts) and load capacity (percentage) and Eco Mode. This information allows you to monitor the inverter’s performance and power supply levels when Running important equipment away from mains power.

Fully Isolated Design

Safety is paramount around 240V and in particular with inverters which is why Projecta fully electrically isolates the DC (and therefore battery posts, vehicle chassis, etc) from the 240V AC circuit.

Designed to AS4763

Compliant with Australian Standard AS4763 2011– Safety of Portable Inverters.

AC Transfer Switch (ups feature)

The inbuilt automatic transfer switch allows the fast change over between mains power and battery power. This eliminates the need to manually change over or plug and unplug cables. A must for Caravan and Leisure craft when connecting to shore power.

Eco Mode

An advancement in technology as when no power is being drawn from the Inverter it will automatically go into Eco mode which reduces its consumption and extends battery life .

2 Year Warranty

Australian designed and engineered, quality is guaranteed and all battery chargers include a 2 year comprehensive warranty.

Additional Installation Information

For indoor use out of weather only, We also recommend wiring on the 240V AC side to be carried out by a licensed electricitian.

It is recommended that a type "A" portable RCD device is used for added protection (residual current device)

Batteries should also be mounted in a separate well vented area\enclosure.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
Intelli-Wave inverters are designed for indoor, out of weather use only. During
operation, the inverter should be in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area as close to
the batteries as possible, but not in the same compartment as the batteries. Ensure
the inverter is away from flammable materials and fumes.
The inverter end plates include a mounting flange for easy mounting. If permanently
fixed, the inverter should be mounted to a suitable horizontal or vertical panel, with
at least 10cm clearance from the end plates to provide adequate ventilation for the
cooling fan.

Connecting Cables to the Inverter

  1. Prepare all cable ends with cable lugs.
  2. Install a circuit breaker or high current fuse and fuse holder in the positive line as close to the battery as possible. The following fuse & fuse holder is available from Projecta - P/No. IFB-250 (250A fuse and holder)
  3. Make sure the inverter On/Off switch is turned OFF.
  4. Connect the cables to the DC input terminals on the rear of the inverter. The red terminal is positive (+) and the black terminal is negative (-).
    a. Connect the positive cable to the inverter and battery positive terminals.
    b. Connect the negative cable to the inverter and battery negative terminals.
  5. The inverter is earthed through the negative DC input cable. Additional earthing can be wired from the DC negative terminal.
